A helping hand with overdue bills

Gary's* wife had been poorly for some time, resulting in Gary reducing his hours at work to care for her, and for their young daughter. They were just about managing, when sadly Gary's wife passed away.

As well as dealing with his own grief and supporting their daughter, bills had started to build up. Although, Gary was back at work, he was still working part-time and needed some support to get back on track. He approached the Fund after hearing about them from a support worker.

How the fund helped

The Fund were happy to help Gary with a grant to pay off overdue priority bills, giving him the chance to get his finances back on track.
